Montmartre garage sale

If you like bargain hunting, Paris is the perfect city for you! In addition to the traditional flea markets that take place every week, of which my favorite is undoubtedly Saint Ouen flea market; every weekend several garage sales and second hand markets are also organized. You can easily find the list of them on Internet.

This Sunday, it was in Montmartre neighborhood, just close to my place, very comfortable, that a flea market took place. Yet it was really cool as it was quite larger than usual and there were plenty of stallholders, plus also all the bars in the area played the game and put tables and bbq outside and cooked nice dishes to eat in and hot dogs to take away. People also played music and there was very festive atmosphere.

En plus des marchés aux puces traditionnels, qui ont lieu toutes les semaines, dont mon préféré est sans doute les puces de Saint Ouen; chaque week-end plusieurs brocantes et vide greniers de quartier sont également organisés. Ce dimanche, c'était vers Montmartre, juste à côté de chez moi, très pratique, qu'un vide grenier avait lieu. Déjà c'était cool car c'était assez grand par rapport à d'habitude et il y avait plein de stands, mais en plus tous les bistrots du coin avaient joué le jeu et avaient sorti tables et bbq dehors et préparaient des petits plats à manger sur place ou des hot-dogs à emporter. Des gens jouaient aussi de la musique et il y avait un esprit très festif, très guinguette.

For our part, after walking among all the stands, we enjoyed a delicious plate of mussels and chips, moreover under the sun, who had managed to split a path through the clouds just as we sat at the table.

Pour notre part, après s'être promenés parmi tous les exposants, nous nous somme régalé d'un délicieux plat de moules-frites Sous le soleil en plus, qui avait réussi à se fendre un chemin parmi les nuages juste au moment où on s'était assis à table.

And to top it off, I found a pretty vintage Lancel bag. This is what I call a perfect Sunday. :)

Et pour couronner le tout, j'ai trouvé une jolie pochette vintage Lancel. C'est ce que j'appelle un dimanche parfait. :)
